The nice thing about the Reventazon River Rafting Trip is that you leave later than most other one-day rafting trips that have very early morning departures. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and you’ll pick you up at your hotel starting at 8:00 a.m. You’ll drive by private, comfortable bus through the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park, past rainforest and waterfalls across the Continental Divide to the Caribbean side of the country. The professional, bilingual guide – who is also a rafting guide – will tell you fun and important facts about Costa Rica along the way.
At the rafting put-in on the banks of the Reventazon River, you’ll receive a paddling and safety orientation. Then, you’ll start rafting. The first rapid of the day will set the pace for more fun to come. Enjoy the beautiful river valley as you travel from thick forest down to wide open spaces with banana plantations. After you finish, your bus will pick you up and take you to the Rafting Operations Center for a delicious hot lunch, showers, optional drinks and a stop in the souvenir store before the return drive to San Jose. This one-day adventure is unforgettable!
